Arkansas High Point - Mt. Magazine

The highest natural geological point in Arkansas is Mt. Magazine, located in western Arkansas. The altitude at the summit is 2,753 feet above sea level. Located in Mt. Magazine State Park, there is no admission fee. The nearest major towns are Paris, AR and Booneville, AR.

I visited the Arkansas High Point in November 2010, when the autumn leaves had already come down. Yet I was grateful to have this peaceful spot in nature all to myself!
