Snow Photos By Meagen Kunert
February 9, 2010 - It has been a very snowy winter in Arkansas.
This latest storm gave northwest Arkansas 18-24 inches of snow. Crazy locals are sledding in Conway, and
even crazier people are daring to drive on the snow and ice covered roads of Little Rock.
We also had a three hour period of "thunder snow" ... extremely heavy snowfall with three
inches of accumulation per hour and 0% visibility. Having
said that, only in Arkansas can we get two feet of snow and then 3-4 days
later, get 60-65 degree weather.
I'll admit I enjoy green grass much more than white snow,
but I am obtaining some good experience with my macro lens.
Below are six micro photos, and a seventh one of a pretty Arkansas
snow scene.
